An excursion to Cairo to the pyramids is an unforgettable experience that allows you to get acquainted with the ancient and mysterious culture of the Egyptian people. The pyramids are a symbol of Egypt and are among the greatest wonders of antiquity.

Cairo is the capital of Egypt, located on the banks of the Nile. It is the largest city in Africa, ranks 13th in terms of population in the world and has more than 20 million people. The city is famous for its history. What is included in the excursion program*:

• Departure from Sharm El Sheikh at 00:30, depending on the location of the hotel (the road to Cairo is about 8 hours, sometimes it can be up to 10 hours one way, depending on police escort – if this is important to you, we recommend choosing a Cairo excursion , Pyramids (by plane);
• National Cairo Museum (the world’s largest repository of ancient Egyptian art, with about 160 thousand exhibits from all periods of Egyptian history);
• Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Khafre, Mikerin);
• Great Sphinx;
• Papyrus Institute and Oil Factory;
• A trip along the Nile on a motor boat (optional, extra charge $10, purchased directly from the guide on the bus);
• Lunch (buffet);
• Transfer to the hotel at approximately 01:00 (departure from Cairo approximately at 16:00-17:00. Sometimes return may be later, depending on the traffic situation and police checkpoints).

What is not included in the price of the excursion:

• A trip along the Nile on a motor boat (optional, extra charge $10, purchased directly from the guide on the bus);

Important! Children up to 3 years old inclusive – Free. If they occupy a separate seat on the bus, the fee is $15.

Additional Information:

• An Egyptian visa is required to go on this excursion. If you only have a Sinai stamp and need help obtaining a visa, we will help you get it immediately before the excursion. Visa cost $25 + organizer services $5, total $30 (check-out from the hotel due to this is about 1 hour earlier);
• Transfer to Cairo on a comfortable large bus with two drivers, security, air conditioning and toilet;
• Entrance to the interior of the Cheops pyramid is not included in the price; if desired (if there is time left on the program), a ticket can be purchased at the ticket office at the entrance to the pyramid, the price is 1000  pounds (~$20);
• During a boat trip along the Nile, tourists who are not going on this trip wait on the bus, according to the tourist rules of Egypt;
• Please note that the organizer’s guides may offer items for sale – this is a common practice in Egypt. Please remember that our online service does not control the quality and prices of these products;
• To prevent possible odors, the toilet on the bus may be closed by the driver under the pretext of a malfunction. We recommend using the toilets at bus stops and near attractions, the cost is approximately 10 Egyptian pounds; The toilets are free at lunch. In case of urgent need and the toilet on the bus is closed, please contact our reservations department for assistance;

The excursion program can be adapted for an individual tour with a personal car and guide. This will allow you to be more flexible in implementing your route and make changes as you wish. The cost of the service is $270 per car (minibus) with driver and guide, plus an additional $35 (child $20) for each participant according to the standard program.

Passport with visa, travel insurance, water, packed lunch (order in advance at the hotel reception), warm clothes (air conditioning on the bus and in winter: sweatshirt, trousers), travel pillow, comfortable shoes, hat, power bank for charging your phone, money for excursions and small expenses.
