Colored Canyon Salama – an unusual canyon is often in demand among tourists. It was most likely formed due to an earthquake in sandy rocks (formerly the seabed) in the southeast of the Sinai Peninsula, near the city of Nuweiba. Over the course of several centuries, water from rains carved out a recess. The sandstones that make up the canyon are painted in various colors – red, pink, yellow, gray, purple, white, and there are also ancient corals.

We offer a rich program from Sharm El Sheikh, which all tourists are delighted with. You can combine many types of entertainment in Egypt in one excursion.

You will see not only the colorful (red) canyon of Salama, but also swim on the reef off the coast, ride camels, ride ATVs (from about 15 years old it is possible to drive) and buy souvenirs from Egypt for family and friends.

What is included in the excursion program*:

• Transfer from the hotel to Dahab at approximately 08:00 (the exact time will be announced after booking, the journey takes about 2 hours, depending on the location of the hotel);
• The road with a stop and arrival at the rental point for snorkeling equipment (swimming with a mask and snorkel);
• Arrival at the coast for a camel ride and photo session along the sea, about 5-10 minutes;
• Quad biking for about 40 minutes (P.No. 2 and P.No. 4);
• Snorkeling in the reserve Three Pools (P.No. 1 and P.No. 2) or the Blue Hole (P.No. 3 and P.No. 4), (it is obligatory** to have a swimming vest and fins with you – swimming in this place is prohibited without these things – it is possible to rent at a rental point);
• Rest and lunch in a coastal cafe (chicken, rice, salad);
• Departure by jeep to the colored canyon of Salama (walk through the canyon for about 45-60 minutes);
• Arrival at the shopping area with the opportunity to purchase aroma oils, jewelry or souvenirs (as decided by the guide on the spot. For relaxation and cooling under air conditioning, there are no obligatory purchases);
• Transfer back to Sharm El Sheikh to your hotel at approximately 18:00 (17:00 in winter).

*The order of the program may change, depending on the decision of the guide and the tour. flow on attractions.

If the guides force you to rent thermal suits, immediately contact our reservation department so that we can pass on the information to the management and they can influence the guides;
• Drinks during lunch ($1-3).

Additional Information:

Important! On the excursion you must take with you the original AND a copy of your passport (a frequent requirement of the police when leaving Sharm El-Sheikh);

The transfer is carried out in comfortable mini-buses with air conditioning;

We recommend bringing candy and small change for the Bedouin children, who sell homemade products for $1-2;

Teenagers from about 15 years of age are allowed to drive an ATV.

Take with you:

Original passport and its copy (requirements of the tourist police), water, hat, arafat (scarf for the face and head), sunglasses, coral for swimming or walking in the canyon, wet wipes, sunscreen, towel, swimsuit, comfortable shoes, mask, snorkel and fins for snorkeling (can be rented on site), money for small expenses.
