Luxor and the area around the city are home to some of Egypt’s most important archaeological sites. Due to the significance and abundance of ancient Egyptian architecture, tourism plays a vital role in the city, which is visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists a year.

We suggest visiting this mysterious city from Sharm El-Sheikh by plane, since it can only be visited by car from Hurghada.

What is included in the excursion program*:

• Departure from the hotel to the airport around 04:00 (the exact time will be announced after booking; flight time to Luxor is about 1.5 hours);
• Arrival in Luxor, Valley of the Living: visit to the Karnak Temple (scarab beetle, sacred lake);
• Crossing the Nile by boat;
• Lunch at a cafe on the banks of the Nile (buffet);
• Valley of the Dead: visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut; Colossi of Memnon;
• Valley of the Queens: visit to the three tombs of the pharaonic queens;
• Factory of alabaster and/or oils;
• Boat trip to Banana Island (optional, extra charge +$20);
• Flight from Luxor to Sharm El Sheikh;
• Arrive at the hotel at approximately 21:00.

What is not included in the price of the excursion:

• Visit to Banana Island (optional, paid separately on site with the guide in cash +$20);
• Drinks during lunch.
• Important! The price for children from 3 to 5 years old inclusive is $160.
• Children up to 2 years old inclusive – Free; if they occupy a separate seat on a plane or bus – payment is $160.

Additional Information:

• An Egyptian visa is required to go on this excursion. If you only have a Sinai stamp and need help obtaining a visa, we will help you get it immediately before the excursion. Visa cost $25 + our services $5, total $30 (check-out from the hotel due to this is about 30-60 minutes earlier);
• Transfer by air-conditioned bus with toilet in Luxor;
• An advance payment of $100 is required to purchase a plane ticket; in case of cancellation of the excursion, the advance payment is not refundable;
• It is necessary to send photos of passports of all people to obtain a tourist permit to travel to the tourist police and purchase plane tickets;
• On trips to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Kings, three main tombs are visited, the rest are for an additional cost – the price is at the ticket office on the spot (including the tomb of Tatunkhamun – the price at the ticket office is about $20, pounds are required when paying);
• Please note that the organizer’s guides may offer items for sale – this is a common practice in Egypt. Please remember that our online service does not control the quality and prices of these products;
• When visiting Banana Island, tourists who do not book this trip with a guide wait on the bus while it moves from one shore to the other. Purchased at the excursion site, payment in cash.

Take with you:

Passport, packed lunch (order in advance at the hotel reception), warm clothes (air conditioning on the bus and plane even in winter), comfortable shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, money for excursions and incidentals, power bank for charging your phone .  water or liquids, they may be confiscated at the airport!
